Dr. Dennis Stevens is a multi-faceted professional with expertise in pedagogical strategies utilizing technology to foster engaging online communities for educational purposes. Alongside his passion for education, Dennis is a talented visual artist, writer, inventor, entrepreneur, non-profit founder/community leader, and strategy consultant.
His academic achievements include a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Art and Art Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Instructional Technology from the Connie L. Lurie College of Education at San Jose State University, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree from the College of Architecture, Arts and Humanities at Clemson University.
Before embarking on his educational journey, Dennis served as a Gunner's Mate in the U.S. Coast Guard. Hailing from Spartanburg, South Carolina, his roots have influenced his creative pursuits and outlook on art, craft, and design. Over more than two decades, Dennis has written extensively on the hybrid intersections of art, craft, and design, contributing valuable insights to the field.
